ABSTRACT:

Astonishingly, the concept of black hole entropy is still thriving among the quantum black hole researchers club. Recalling our important 1992 formal proof of the inconsistency of Bekenstein-Hawking Black Hole Thermodynamics as well as recent proofs by the Belinski group of the non-existence of the Unruh and Hawking effects in Mean-Field theory, we emphasize the complete mathematical collapse of the Hawking theory of black holes as thermal objects. Instead, making use of the 1992 Leblanc-Harms WKB pure state theory, quantum black holes are identified as massive p-brane or string excitations. Recognizing the resonant nature of such excitations, the proper quantization of these objects requires the use of so-called rigged Hilbert spaces. Consequently, quantum black holes correspond to Planck scale Gamow states.
